Tackling Indigenous Smoking Support Officer

Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is seeking an experienced and passionate Aboriginal Identified Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) Support Officer to join our team in Tennant Creek. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Barkly Region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to reduce tobacco smoking and promote smoke-free environments in Aboriginal communities. This will involve working closely with community members, health services, and other stakeholders to design and deliver culturally responsive programs and services.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of Aboriginal health issues, experience working in community health or welfare services, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you are passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people and have a commitment to cultural safety, we want to hear from you.
