Our organization is seeking a skilled Technical Coordinator to contribute to projects that investigate the genetic and molecular factors influencing trait variation in crops crucial to agriculture.

This role involves participating in research utilizing next-generation genetic and genomic tools and innovative breeding methods to improve crop yields, including wheat, barley, pulses, and oilseeds. Responsibilities include performing techniques for trait analysis based on DNA/RNA sequencing, genotype-by-sequencing, and Infinium iSelect SNP assay.

The successful candidate will maintain accurate laboratory records and conduct research contributing to multiple projects with diverse scientific objectives. They will work under general supervision, requiring a collaborative mindset, strong oral and written communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.

The Technical Coordinator will assist in the development and implementation of new assays, working effectively as a member of a team, enjoying flexible working arrangements, and undertaking various tasks across the division.
