Service Centre Manager Opportunity

RAC WA is seeking a seasoned Service Centre Manager to lead their automotive service team in Morley. Key Responsibilities:

As the Service Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a high-performing team of automotive professionals to ensure daily operations align with RAC's strategic goals. You will focus on:

  • Operational Leadership: Manage overall performance, ensuring the centre meets key performance indicators such as revenue, profitability, quality, and compliance.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Oversee and monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance across all operations.
  • Team Development: Plan and manage staff performance, ensuring alignment with RAC policies. Provide coaching and create a culture of engagement.
  • Customer Excellence: Ensure superior service for customers and members, handling feedback and optimising customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Operational Efficiency: Review and implement process improvements for better efficiency in service delivery.
  • Inventory & Equipment Management: Ensure smooth operation through effective management of inventory, stock, and equipment.
  • Recruitment and Retention: Play a key role in recruiting, retaining, and developing talent for the centre.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the automotive industry, a consultative leadership style, and a strong focus on team development. Other key attributes include:

  • Sales & Business Acumen: Ability to drive growth in client base while ensuring business profitability.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with excellent relationship management abilities.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: Proven skills in conflict resolution and making decisions under pressure.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with ease.
  • Team Coaching Experience: A track record of coaching, mentoring, and fostering a positive work culture.
