Senior Structural Design Expert

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our esteemed team as a Senior Structural Design Expert. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing structural steel and concrete designs for brownfields/greenfields projects across the mining industry.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Developing structural steel and concrete designs that meet industry standards and specifications
  • Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

Familiarity with Industry Standards
  • 7+ years of experience in the mining or heavy industry sector
  • Proficiency in MicroStation 2D/3D software
  • Familiarity with OpenBuildings Design (OBD) software
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
