Front Office Attendant Job Description

This role involves assisting the General Manager to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the Front Office Department on either a full-time or casual basis.

A Day in the Life of a Front Office Attendant Consists of:

  • Welcoming guests to the resort while providing prompt, courteous, and efficient check-in and checkout services throughout their stay
  • Assisting guests with requests and memorable experiences by sharing hotel and local knowledge
  • Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of guest amenities and ensuring the security of our guests and their possessions.
  • Daily liaison with inter-departments such as food and beverage and housekeeping for guest movements, requests, and activities
  • Meeting and exceeding guest expectations in an efficient and proactive manner
  • Assist in the preparation of accounts, invoices, and purchase orders for the resorts' accounts department.
  • Ensure all reservation inquiries are replied to/auctioned
  • Process and input reservations and check them for accuracy
  • Ensure that all data in the resort reservation system (PMS) is accurate and correct
  • Managing the daily rates loading and availability of the resort via the PMS and online channels with the General Manager
Key Responsibilities:
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional phone manner
  • Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
  • Previous experience in hotel or resort front office (not essential)
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights, and public holidays
  • Strong administration skills including an eye for accuracy
  • Outstanding grooming - Full Uniform provided
