Lead Solution Architect

Hudson Australia is seeking a highly experienced Lead Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in solution architecture and design.
Key Responsibilities- Solution Architecture and Practice Design
- Develop and maintain architecture and technology standards, roadmaps, patterns, and methodologies for all information, applications, and infrastructure across the organization.
- Assemble key inputs to technology considerations, investments, priorities, dependencies, analysis of alternatives, and program/practice execution.
- Support the organizational planning process and strategic development of Technology assets in the context of organizational goals and stated direction.
- Manage life cycle and technology road-map planning with a focus on solution innovation.
- Provide governance and quality assurance for the delivery of all technical services.
- Lead and deliver consulting services when required, including development of High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, Site Migration Plans.
- Evaluate, align, and map technology alternatives to deliver desired business outcomes.
- Take an enterprise perspective and align respective domain/architecture considerations, such that there is an end-to-end aligned architecture.
- Technical Leadership
- Undertake high-level research, horizon scanning, and analysis to identify future Technology trends and assess applicability to support business objectives.
- Identify and assess new and emerging technologies, products, methods, and techniques to determine the likely relevance for the organization.
- Ensure that what is delivered is innovative, fit for purpose, adheres to architectural and functional standards, and aligns to defined scope.
- Business Engagement and Stakeholder Management
- Develop and manage Technology stakeholder groups to facilitate open communication, capture, and disseminate business and technical information to stakeholders.
- Provide architectural direction and support to domain/solution & infrastructure architects.
- An established Solution Architect with demonstrated experience in Applications, Integration, Information, and Cloud Platforms.
- Highly developed business acumen, large-scale Technology system know-how, governance, and operations experience.
- Proven experience as a Lead/Principal/Senior Solution Architect.
- Technical expertise to address risks and identify opportunities to build competitive advantage, business efficiencies, and improved effectiveness.
- Strong awareness and understanding of hardware, networks, software, technologies, and applications.
- A well-developed knowledge base and ability to identify and form opinions on emerging trends and technologies.
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience to manage multiple activities across business unit boundaries.
- TOGAF Certification (desirable).
