About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic and supportive urology team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH). As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the timely assessment and management of patients with acute urological conditions.

As an integral part of the team, you will work alongside specialists to assess patients referred from the emergency department, other hospitals, and general practitioners in the community. Your responsibilities will also include inpatient referrals from other specialist units and participation in the on-call roster for urology registrar cover, with the full support of an on-call consultant for clinical decision-making and surgical interventions.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • MBBS or equivalent, and general registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a commitment to quality improvement
  • Experience in the assessment and management of urological conditions, with developing clinical skills in flexible cystoscopy
