About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). As a Clinical Leader in Mental Health Services, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional mental health care to our consumers.

In this position, you will provide top-tier services, ensuring that your practice is safe, evidence-based, and consumer-focused. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, leading by example and fostering an environment of high standards in patient care.

As a Senior Medical Officer in CALHN, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of mental health by teaching and supervising RANZCP registrars, trainee medical officers, and medical students. Your expertise will contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities, ensuring continuous professional development and the advancement of mental health services.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Psychiatrist who is passionate about making a positive impact in mental health care. Your expertise and commitment will help us provide the highest standard of clinical services to our consumers.

  • Qualifications: Hold an MBBS or equivalent, with specialist registration and RANZCP fellowship.
  • Clinical Practice: Demonstrate a high standard of clinical practice and a commitment to quality improvement.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exhibit strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience: Bring clinical experience in public mental health services, along with a background in supervision and quality improvement activities.
