A full-time, permanent position is available within our Dental Corporation's Contract Management and Governance team. This hybrid role allows for flexibility in working from home and collaborating in our offices. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Contract Management and Governance, you will oversee all elements of Clinical Governance within our organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary duties will include:
- Ensuring that all incidents are documented and addressed, with follow-up on corrective actions within set timelines.
- Collaborating closely with the Head Dentist to monitor progress and communicate any shifts in priorities or strategies.
- Managing all Clinical Governance contractual documentation and fulfilling internal reporting requirements.
- Coordinating and supervising agreed-upon audit and compliance activities, assisting practices in completing necessary actions within designated timeframes.
- Overseeing all Clinical Governance Internal Controls and Risk Management Assessment requirements.
- In partnership with the Head Dentist, evaluating the effectiveness of corrective and preventive action programs.
- Managing credentialing processes for contracted health practitioners and overseeing related audits in accordance with our Quality Management Plan.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders to support the safe operation of our clinical and business models.
- Staying informed about changes in regulations and legislation affecting the dental and healthcare sectors.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent with current registration.
- A postgraduate qualification in health management, clinical governance, or a related field is highly regarded.
- Extensive experience in clinical control management and a solid background in governance and quality assurance.
- Experience in applying risk and assurance frameworks to achieve business objectives.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to engage and motivate teams.
- Strong communication skills for managing complex relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in report writing for senior management review.
