Cyber Security Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Risk and Awareness Analyst to play a critical role in protecting our digital platforms and educating staff on cyber safety. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for evolving our cyber security awareness program, creating awareness campaigns and training modules to address emerging threats and increase the vigilance among our users.

This is a full-time ongoing position based in Warrnambool, Victoria. You will work collaboratively across business units to continuously identify, assess and understand cybersecurity risks in the context of people and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evolving Cyber Security Awareness Program: Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security awareness program to educate staff on best practices and promote secure behavior.
  • Awareness Campaigns and Training Modules: Design and deliver engaging awareness campaigns and training modules to address emerging threats and increase user vigilance.
  • Collaborative Risk Assessment: Work with cross-functional teams to identify, assess and understand cybersecurity risks in the context of people and technology.
  • Compliance and Policy Alignment: Assist in ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal cybersecurity policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in technology, risk, education or business.
  • Cyber Security Experience: Have significant experience with cyber security concepts and processes in practice.
  • Industry Certifications: Possess industry certifications such as CRISC, CISSP or MCP.
  • Cyber Standards Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of cyber standards such as NIST 800 series, ISO 27000 series or equivalent.
