Senior Governance Executive Role

This is a senior position in our central Information Governance department, which plays a crucial part in supporting diverse groups to manage risks associated with data retention, sovereignty, and information security.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide framework for information governance
  • Provide strategic advice and tools to enable efficient and scalable information governance practices across the organisation
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on information governance matters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote best practices and ensure compliance with industry and international standards

Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge and experience in information governance, including records management, data sovereignty frameworks, and working with classification schemes
  • Exposure to and understanding of technology platforms and solutions underpinning information governance
  • A collaborative approach with a proactive and problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a global business environment
  • Strong skills in Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Excel
  • Experience in a complex business environment, preferably in financial services or other highly regulated industries
