The role of Senior Advisor, Price Monitoring and Regulation is a dynamic opportunity that makes a genuine impact on the lives of Victorians.
This position leads a small team in the Executive Office to advance a high-performance culture by supporting the Price Monitoring and Regulation leadership team to develop and report on annual operational plans, as well as oversee governance, risk, and stakeholder management functions.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the development and regular reporting of annual operational plans for the Price Monitoring and Regulation leadership team.
- Coordinating the delivery of work programs across the division and adherence to commission process requirements.
- Facilitating opportunities for whole of division communication, collaboration, and development.
- Coordinating regular briefings from the Price Monitoring and Regulation leadership team and other executives to key external stakeholders, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of agendas and written materials.
- Leading the Executive Director office team, fostering teamwork and developing staff.
- Undertaking various governance, risk, and compliance functions.
The Essential Services Commission is Victoria's independent economic regulator of essential services supplied by various industries. Our key functions include making regulatory decisions, undertaking reviews, providing advice to Ministers, and administering the Victorian Energy Upgrades program.
This is an ongoing position with hybrid work arrangements available.
