Worker Recovery Specialist

We provide ongoing support and learning to help people recover and return to work.

A dedicated team of professionals, including over 4,000 employees, are invested in their long-term careers with us.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Canberra office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver early, timely, and personal customer-focused service to injured workers and employers.
  • Proactively manage all aspects of a caseload of worker's compensation claims within legislation and compliance guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer experience to all stakeholders and manage end-to-end outcomes for a portfolio of cases.
  • Offer accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand.
  • Conduct reviews, case conferences, or face-to-face meetings with clients as required.
About You:
  • Previous experience within the medical or corporate field, specialising in customer service, is highly desirable.
  • Experience in managing claims in the workers compensation scheme or the Safety Rehabilitation Act (SRC) is advantageous but not necessary.
  • An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to providing customer-centric support.
  • A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Commitment to supporting injured workers with their recovery and return to work.
