Social Media Lead

At our organisation, we're seeking a Social Media Lead to take our online presence to the next level. You'll lead a team in crafting engaging content that resonates with audiences and builds a community that wants to hear from us.

This role is part strategist, part content creator, part community builder. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative content solutions, partner with influencers who understand our goals, and maintain our brand's relevance across multiple social platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy
    • Develop a global content strategy that aligns with business objectives
    • Build an always-on content calendar that responds to emerging trends and audience interests
  • Community Engagement
    • Oversee day-to-day engagement activities, including responding to comments and direct messages
    • Build genuine relationships with influencers, creators, and fans to foster loyalty and advocacy
  • Performance Measurement
    • Monitor key performance indicators, including reach, engagement, and follower growth
    • Analyse data to inform content decisions and optimise social media strategies
  • Team Leadership
    • Mentor and support a team of social media specialists
    • Foster a collaborative and creative environment that encourages innovation and experimentation

You Will Thrive In This Role If:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in the travel or lifestyle industries
  • You possess expertise in creating engaging content for various social platforms
  • You are able to balance strategic thinking with creative execution and adapt to changing audience preferences
