CQUniversity is seeking a motivated individual to work as part of the Student Engagement team to provide operational leadership of student engagement services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a student support team to guide and support students throughout their time at university to achieve their education goals.
  • Work closely with management to support student-focused engagement activities and associated projects across the CQUniversity footprint.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and clients from all levels and backgrounds.
  • Deliver a responsive customer service and provide operational leadership to ensure the effective delivery of student engagement services.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading, guiding, and developing a small team within a student support environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to problem-solve.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and liaise effectively with colleagues and clients from all levels and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work efficiently, cooperatively, and collaboratively in a team-based work environment.
  • Understanding of the needs of a culturally diverse university community.
  • Proficient in the operation of computer software programs and capacity to learn various University systems, processes, and resources.
