Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with others to provide centre-based/group activities and individual supports to meet the goals of the people we support.

The role requires delivering services using a recovery-oriented approach for people with psychosocial disabilities who have NDIS Plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Certificate IV in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and the NSW mental health system and local services, or ability to learn
  • Ability to use the recovery-based approach to assisting people with severe and persistent mental illness
  • Demonstrated values consistent with person-centred ways of working and supporting the person's choice and control
  • Ability to exercise personal responsibility and work as a team, with the support and guidance of a NDIS Project Manager.
