Automated Systems Technician Job

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our Electrical & Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on industrial, automated, or conveyor systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on automated conveyor and sortation systems
  • Diagnose and resolve faults quickly to minimise downtime
  • Log jobs and updates in the MEX maintenance system
  • Maintain tools, parts, and equipment in top condition
Electrical Trade Role?
  • Work with PLCs, SCADA systems, and VSDs from fault-finding to control upgrades
  • Ensure all electrical work is compliant and aligned with safety standards
Requirements:
  • A trade qualification in either mechanical or electrical disciplines
  • Experience working on industrial systems
  • Strong fault-finding skills and a calm approach
  • The ability to read technical schematics
  • Comfortable using CMMS platforms like MEX
Nice to Have:
  • Certificate III in Electrical Fitting and A Grade Licence (electrical role)
  • Experience in logistics or high-throughput settings
