We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary early intervention team, providing a range of services for children from birth to 7 years in NSW and Victoria.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with flexible working hours, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week. As a Speech Pathologist at KU Children's Services, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with families, other professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain respectful relationships with stakeholders, including families and other professionals
  • Provide assessments, interventions, and support to children with additional needs
  • Develop and implement individualised plans to meet the developmental needs of children
  • Administer and score assessments, and write reports to communicate with families and other professionals
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children
  • Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments
  • Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases
  • Meticulous time management and organisation skills
  • Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
  • A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain
