We are seeking a skilled Windows SOE Engineer to design and maintain standard Windows images aligned to industry standards. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Windows Endpoint Management/SOE engineering, with a proven track record in SOE build, application packaging, and Intune deployment. Strong knowledge of PowerShell, GPO/baselines, Defender, BitLocker, and public-sector compliance exposure is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Design and upkeep of standard Windows SOE images aligned to industry standards.">
  • App packaging and deployment using MSIX/Win32 and Intune or Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).">
  • Intune/Endpoint Management: manage policies, compliance, Conditional Access, baselines, Autopilot, app, and update rings.">
  • Lifecycle and patching: provisioning, configuration, monthly patching, and Windows version upgrades with minimal disruption.">
  • Security Controls: implement BitLocker, Defender policies, hardening, and secure baselines mapped to public-sector standards.">
  • Automation: use PowerShell to automate builds, config, and remediation.">
  • Troubleshooting: escalate L3 issues related to SOE, application, and deployment; create clear runbooks/docs.">
  • Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams; support non-Windows endpoints as needed.">

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in Windows Endpoint Management/SOE engineering.">
  • Proven experience in SOE build, application packaging, and Intune deployment; MECM/SCCM is a plus.">
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell, GPO/baselines, Defender, BitLocker, and public-sector compliance exposure (ISM/E8/ISO).">
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.">
  • Australian Citizen with active NV1 security clearance is mandatory.">
