Job Title: Windows SOE Engineer - Federal Government Contract

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows SOE Engineer to join our team on an urgent 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining standard Windows SOE images aligned to ISM / Essential Eight / ISO 27001.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building and packaging software applications, deploying via Intune (and/or Endpoint Configuration Manager/MECM), and managing endpoint security controls. You should also possess excellent communication and documentation skills, as well as experience working with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain standard Windows SOE images aligned to ISM / Essential Eight / ISO 27001
  • Build and package software applications for deployment via Intune (and/or Endpoint Configuration Manager/MECM)
  • Manage endpoint security controls, including BitLocker and Defender policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Windows Endpoint Management/SOE engineering
  • Proven experience in building, packaging, and deploying software applications
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • Experience with Intune (deploying builds) and Endpoint Configuration Manager/MECM
  • Knowledge of public-sector compliance standards, including ISM / Essential Eight / ISO 27001
