Security Risk Management Business Partner

Role Overview:
The Security Risk Management Business Partner position is a dynamic and collaborative role within our General Counsel and Governance Team, located in our Perth CBD offices.
This role is essential for providing comprehensive support for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Synergy's Security Management Framework, which encompasses Counter Foreign Interference and the Security of Critical Infrastructure Governance Standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and governance of the Security Management Framework and the Security of Critical Infrastructure Governance Standard.
- Support the first line in reviewing and updating material risks and assessments.
- Conduct second line oversight and monitoring of significant security risks across the organization.
- Aid in the design and execution of validation programs for security controls throughout the business.
- Facilitate the annual report attestation process and fulfill all other security risk governance obligations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Enterprise Risk Management, Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in operations and corporate risk management within a comparable organization or sector.
- 3-5 years of experience in an enterprise-wide risk management capacity.
- Familiarity with the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act and its application.
- Understanding of the WA State Government's Countering Foreign Interference Framework.
