We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Operations Manager, overseeing daily operations and ensuring targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery are consistently achieved.

  • This leadership position requires a strong focus on operational excellence, driving financial performance through effective planning, cost control, and budget management.
  • You will lead and oversee daily operations, develop streamlined processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Foster a high-performance team culture, empowering and coaching employees to deliver results.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements, embedding a Zero Harm culture.
  • Process Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives, using lean and agile methodologies to deliver measurable gains.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Build strong working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to support business goals.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Trade Certification.
  • Proven leadership experience in operations management (manufacturing, repairs, or mining services preferred).
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record of delivering operational results.
  • Knowledge of mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry equipment (experience with FLSmidth products is a plus).
