Job Overview
  • Work as part of a team celebrated for its strength-based approach and life-changing outcomes for Autistic people.
  • Support 3 to 4 participants per day in community settings, focusing on transferable skills that shape everyday lives.
  • Meet participants in their community setting to work on building capabilities and aligning with their interests.
  • Contribute to a structured program of clinical training sessions, introduction to Positive Behaviour Support, and ongoing monthly training for professional growth.

Our trusted therapy team aims to support and empower individuals on the spectrum and their families/support network to bring about meaningful change based on functional goals.

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy or speech pathology.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in speech pathology or occupational therapy.
  • Experience in disability services is advantageous but not essential.
  • A self-starter eager to deepen skills in neurodivergence.
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia or willingness to obtain.
  • Current driver's license, use of own vehicle for work (reimbursed per km), and willingness to travel locally.
  • Keenness to work itinerantly in the community, building strong participant relationships.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
  • Working with Children Check for paid employment in your state.
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' (click here to access).
