Heavy Diesel Technician Opportunity

This is a critical role that requires a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to maintain and repair heavy diesel products. As part of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diesel engines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products, diagnosing and repairing engines, disassembling, inspecting, and cleaning engines and/or engine components. They will also be responsible for engine rebuilding and reconditioning, maintaining work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation, and assisting with completion of required documentation.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy vehicle systems, as well as excellent technical and problem-solving skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
  • Diagnose and repair engines
  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components
  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
  • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
  • Assist with completion of required documentation

Requirements:

  • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III) or equivalent
  • Basic level of workshop or field service experience required
  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
  • Heavy Vehicle Experience preferred
  • HR License preferred
