Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide comprehensive support to our diesel mechanic team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our diesel equipment and machinery, contributing to our commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist diesel mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other related components.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the service team to prioritize and schedule repair and maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities, including parts inventory and work performed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
