We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Specialist to join our maintenance crew.
About the Role- Perform routine preventative maintenance and servicing on vehicles and equipment, including diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and failures; implement appropriate repairs.
- Assist with planning maintenance work and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Maintain effective working relationships with team members and management.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, report safety concerns and incidents immediately.
- Ensure work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards.
- Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification and experience.
- Competencies to operate mobile plant preferred.
- Exposed to physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, and weather most days.
- Frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, read, talk, and hear.
- Regularly lift items of reasonable weight.
