About the Role

The Credit Controller position requires a highly motivated and experienced professional to monitor and manage our accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely payment from clients while maintaining positive relationships and minimizing credit risk.

  • Manage the company's accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and statement issuance.
  • Conduct thorough credit assessments on new and existing customers to evaluate creditworthiness and establish suitable credit limits.
  • Review and analyse customer credit records, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective strategies to minimize bad debt risk.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer queries and disputes, promoting a positive client experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including contact information and payment history.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record as a Credit Controller or within a similar role in the Insurance or Banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of credit control principles, practices, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel).
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package of AU$85,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits.
