We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our KinCare team in Parramatta. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, helping our customers maintain their independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' daily needs.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide complex care for those with high care needs, such as dementia.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • A Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing.
  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, as travel is part of the role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
