Home Care Worker Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential care and companionship to older individuals living in their own homes, helping to empower their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, mealtime, and medication administration.
  • Housekeeping and Domestic Support: Help with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Transportation: Drive clients to appointments or on shopping trips.
  • Social and Wellbeing: Accompany clients on outings and social support activities.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience in providing client-centered care.
  • Current First Aid certificate.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
