About the Role

As a Uniting Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of care and providing essential support and companionship to older people living in the Blue Mountains.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing home assistance with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Assisting with personal care, including showering, dressing, mealtime support, and medication administration.
  • Offering transport support for appointments, shopping trips, and social support activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualifications: Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience providing person-centred care or a passion to begin your career in aged care.
  • Certifications: Current First Aid certificate.
  • Driving Requirements: Driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
