About the Role

You will be part of supporting the Prime Minister through data and insights on domestic, economic, social, and international policy. You will work closely with core teams across government to improve policy by providing bespoke analysis, creating custom data tools, and procuring data from across the government and private sector.

Responsibilities
  1. Supporting the Net Zero Taskforce by identifying regions vulnerable to economic disruption during the Net Zero transition.
  2. Producing daily Current Issues Briefs on key cost-of-living indicators used by the Prime Minister.
  3. Developing reporting products such as briefs, forward plans, Horizon Scan Products, or key priority 'one-pagers'.
  4. Engaging with people impacted by decarbonization, understanding their needs, and advising on how the Commonwealth can best respond.
  5. Producing work in R programming language and using software development tools like git.
