Job Title: Team Leader

A dynamic and collaborative leader is sought to join our team in a key role that will shape the future of STEM education in Australia.

As a Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students and communities across the country through engaging and interactive activities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision. A background in science communication, education, or a STEM field would be highly desirable. Experience coordinating, leading, and/or delivering STEM engagement activities is also essential.

Key responsibilities of the Team Leader will include:

  • Guiding and supporting Project Coordinators and the broader team in planning and delivering national touring programs and activities.
  • Supervising and leading the program delivery team, identifying development and training requirements.
  • Effectively allocating and monitoring resources, including staff, equipment, and budget.
  • Proactively identifying problems, risks, and improvements, with a solutions-focused approach to unexpected change.
  • Maintaining effective communication channels and tools across the team, including with managers.
