Job Overview

This role is responsible for providing geotechnical support to ensure mine development and production activities remain at an acceptable level of risk from geotechnical hazards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular geotechnical inspections, create and review Ground Control Management Plans, and monitor access stability.
  • Collaborate with technical and operational staff, provide training and mentor junior engineers, and assess open pit and underground designs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, relevant degree from a recognised institution, and affiliation to a Professional Body or Organisation.
  • Experience with Surpac mining software and strong working relationships between technical and operational staff.
