Job Role- Provide individualised care and support to residents living with dementia, including assistance with emotional needs.
- Engage residents with meaningful activities tailored to their background and interests, promoting comfort, familiarity and positive emotions.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for residents, fostering independence, dignity and optimal wellbeing.
- Respond empathetically to residents' emotional needs, creating a calm and reassuring atmosphere.
- Support care staff in assisting residents with daily living activities when required.
- Vibrant and enthusiastic person to join our team.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Aged Care – or equivalent qualification.
- 6 months experience in Aged Care, preferably with dementia-specific experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think autonomously and show initiative.
- Positive interaction with residents and their families.
