About The Position

As a Superintendent Fixed Plant, you will lead a skilled team and drive cost-effective asset performance. Your responsibilities will include executing asset health assessments, maintenance engineering, planning, scheduling, and shutdown coordination.

You will be part of a supportive team backed by your leader to grow and achieve your own professional goals as well as the team's objectives.

Reporting to the Manager Fixed Plant, your key duties will comprise:

  • Fostering and communicating a culture of safety awareness and compliance to promote a positive safety environment.
  • Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating, and implementing improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborating closely with other departments and stakeholders in the performance of tasks.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Fixed Plant Maintenance personnel.
  • Maintaining Fixed Plant Maintenance activities to maximize productivity while minimizing costs and environmental impact.
  • Providing quality control on maintenance processes, including reviewing the 5 whys process completed by direct reports.
  • Working closely with the planning and scheduling teams to ensure effective maintenance.
  • Ensuring maintenance activities are carried out safely, according to plan, and cost-effectively.
