Program Manager, Risk Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the execution and delivery of the Risk Division's Data Strategy over several years. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple interdependencies, high risk, and high-impact projects, and navigating ambiguity and volatility.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy to drive business growth and improve risk management
- Lead a team of professionals to analyze data across large, multi-stream projects to assess the effectiveness of solutions and their value to the business
- Manage resources, optimize allocation to minimize downtime, and coach others to achieve high-quality results
- Proactively mitigate delivery and operational risks, establishing controls where risk resolution is not feasible
- Ensure all governance processes are followed, allowing stakeholders to clearly understand their roles and decision-making responsibilities
- Estimate costs and benefits, accurately forecast project expenses, and ensure budgets are managed within policy
- Optimize impacts on the Profit and Loss (P&L) and future spend, providing actionable insights throughout
- Establish and manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance metrics and satisfaction ratings are met
- Partner with senior leaders across business divisions to deliver on strategic objectives
- Support high-level conversations and ensure teams remain engaged and committed throughout projects
- Minimum of 5 years of Program Management experience, with 15+ years in the industry
- Delivered complex initiatives in large financial institutions, with board-reportable investments exceeding $10M, senior sponsorship, and teams of over 20 people
- Comfortable managing multiple interdependencies, high risk, and high-impact projects, and navigating ambiguity and volatility
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in Banking, Risk Management, and Data Governance, with a strong understanding of data analytics in areas such as Credit Risk, Financial Crime, and Non-Financial Risk
