About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Risk Specialist to join our Data Governance and Risk Team at Macquarie. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in assessing and bringing enterprise critical data usages under governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and document end-to-end data flows and system processes
  • Identify potential data risks and develop mitigating controls
  • Recognize opportunities for enhancements of processes and controls
  • Manage the implementation of the Enterprise Data Management framework
  • Facilitate data governance business overview sessions and coach and mentor team members
Requirements
  • Strong business analysis skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage stakeholders
  • Previous experience in data governance or data management
  • Good project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Relevant business, quantitative or IT related degree qualification
  • Enterprise Data Management tooling experience
