We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Teacher to join our team in a Secondary Inclusion role at Alexandra Hills. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics, Science, English, and Humanities to students with diverse needs, including those with learning difficulties and disabilities. You will also provide case management support to students accessing Individual Curriculum Plans and Individual Support Plans.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of your students and contribute to the growth and development of our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics, Science, English, and Humanities to students with diverse needs.
- Provide case management support to students accessing Individual Curriculum Plans and Individual Support Plans.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant teaching qualification.
- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
- Exemption card issued by Blue Card Services (for teachers working in Education and Care Services).
