Job Title: Strategic Research Coordinator

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to drive strategic outcomes and manage day-to-day operations of a growing research team.

We address how early, digital, and daily experiences shape future mental health. We identify key mechanisms for intervention to improve young people's future prospects. Our team combines quantitative methods, new technologies, developmental psychology, and prevention science to advance science-based solutions.

  • Supporting the Team Head to identify new research collaborations and funding opportunities globally.
  • Providing leadership and planning for strategic initiatives.
  • Overseeing project planning, development, and establishment for various research projects.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with communities, service providers, colleagues, and research project staff.

This part-time or full-time position is located within Perth Children's Hospital and may be offered for up to 2 years, with potential extension.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant science, health-related, or business management field and possess:

  • Relevant experience in administration, project management, business capacity, funding, or research.
  • The ability to coordinate and deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Superior people skills with the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.
  • Able to lead and work collaboratively in a high-performing team environment.
