We work on exciting projects such as the highly anticipated Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Stranger Things animated series, Marvel Studios' What If...?, Disney Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan.

About the Role
  • You will collaborate with VFX, CG supervisors, Production Managers, and Artists to provide technical guidance, ensuring seamless workflow.
  • Attend technical meetings to clarify development involvement and facilitate effective communication.
  • Maintain constant communication with your team, pipeline crew, and production, fostering active information flow.
Responsibilities
  • Develop solutions for specific projects, expanding company pipeline capabilities in a project-agnostic manner.
  • Contribute to core-level development, addressing company-wide workflows and software stack enhancements.
  • Document new and existing workflows to benefit technical and creative teams.
  • Cultivate expertise in the Shotgrid Toolkit Framework, Asset Management systems, and Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, Katana, Nuke, Houdini, Toon Boom Harmony, and AVID.
Requirements
  • Prior pipeline production experience, preferably in Animation or VFX.
  • Experience with Katana, preferred for lighting pipeline improvements.
  • Strong Python coding skills, with C++ knowledge beneficial for performance optimization.
