Flying Bark Productions is a renowned independent producer of family-focused animation entertainment. We are currently seeking an experienced Animation Pipeline Developer to join our team in Sydney.

About the Role

This role will involve developing and maintaining our pipeline and tool infrastructure, ensuring seamless collaboration between artists, producers, and technical teams. You will be working on exciting projects such as animated series and feature films.

As an Animation Pipeline Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and implement pipeline solutions to automate repetitive tasks and improve artist workflows;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues;
  • Develop and maintain documentation for pipeline processes and tools;
  • Work closely with our development team to integrate new technologies and tools into our pipeline;
  • Provide training and support to artists and other stakeholders on pipeline-related topics.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in pipeline production, preferably in animation or VFX;
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in C++ a plus;
  • Familiarity with ShotGrid API, Toolkit, and other asset management systems;
  • Experience with Maya, Katana, Houdini, Nuke, and Toon Boom Harmony;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
What We Offer

Flying Bark Productions offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We also offer a hybrid work-from-home arrangement, flexible work hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, superannuation, and access to mental health resources.

Our studio is located in Alexandria, Sydney, and we welcome candidates who are passionate about animation and willing to relocate to Sydney or work remotely within Australia.
