About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Animation Pipeline Developer to join our project and core pipeline teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing solutions that enhance our studio's capabilities and streamline artist workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with VFX, CG supervisors, production managers, and artists to provide technical guidance and support.
  • Attend technical meetings to ensure clarity on development progress and collaboration with the team.
  • Maintain open communication channels with the production team, artists, and pipeline crew.
  • Develop solutions tailored to specific projects while expanding company-wide pipeline capabilities.
  • Document new and existing workflows to benefit technical and creative teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • Prior experience in pipeline production, preferably in animation or VFX.
  • Experience with Katana, Maya, Houdini, Nuke, and other software tools.
  • Excellent Python coding skills and knowledge of C++.
  • Familiarity with Shotgrid API, Toolkit Framework, and REZ.
  • Bonus points for experience leading pipeline in past projects and contributing to open-source projects.
