We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to partner with operational teams to drive cost control, efficiency, and performance outcomes.

About The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for analysing and monitoring standard costs, labour, material usage, and overheads, identifying variances and improvement opportunities.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and deliver accurate cost and management reports, including P&L, variance analysis, and commentary for manufacturing operations.
  2. Analyse and monitor standard costs, labour, material usage, and overheads, identifying variances and improvement opportunities.
  3. Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights that drive cost control, efficiency, and performance outcomes.
  4. Support budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing cost centres and operational planning.
  5. Perform month-end close activities, including journals, reconciliations, and internal reporting in line with business timelines.

What We're Looking For
  1. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, and CA/CPA qualified.
  2. Proven experience in a cost accounting or manufacturing finance role.
  3. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a process improvement mindset.
  4. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  5. Proficient in Excel and ERP systems; SAP experience highly regarded.
