Cost Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our cost management team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of quantity surveying and cost management principles, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects in various sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering cost management and quantity surveying services on major projects across Queensland and nationally. They will oversee project cost planning from early feasibility to delivery, including estimating, value engineering, risk analysis, and whole-of-life costing.

This role requires strong leadership and technical skills, as well as the ability to build trusted client relationships and provide strategic commercial advice. The candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and representing the company in industry forums.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and deliver cost management and quantity surveying services on major projects.
  • Oversee project cost planning from early feasibility to delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level professionals.
  • Build trusted client relationships and provide strategic commercial advice.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and represent the company in industry forums.

Requirements :

  • 15+ years' post-graduate experience in quantity surveying / cost management.
  • Strong leadership and technical skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian construction contracts and procurement strategies.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering.
  • Australian citizenship or an active / eligible Defence clearance preferred.
