Excavation Assistant

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Excavation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in the installation of stormwater, sewerage, water and gas infrastructure.

You will be working in a specialized field that requires strong physical abilities and attention to detail. You will work closely with our team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the excavation process to lay down pipes and other underground infrastructure.
  • Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and dump trucks.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or as a civil labourer.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
  • Fitness level required for physically demanding work.
