About our role

Northern Star Resources have full-time, permanent opportunities for experienced Excavator Operators to join our world-class Thunderbox and Bronzewing Operations. These opportunities are offered on an even time 15 shifts on, 13 days off roster.

Here's what awaits you :

  • Maintain optimate production though the excavation of ore and waste from the mine
  • Conducting pre-start meetings in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures
  • Reporting hazards when encountering them to ensure a safe work environment
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safe operation of mobile plant equipment
  • Working towards reducing costs in daily jobs by not wasting resources at hand

To thrive in this role, you'll need :

Experience : Minimum 2 years' experience operating Liebherr 9400 Excavators, with 5 years' experience in an open pit mining environment. Gold mining experience highly regarded.

Qualification : Current Australian C - Class Drivers licence.

Passion for growth : Interest in gold mining with high regard to safety.
