About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Health and Safety Coordinator to join our Retail Operations and People & Culture Teams. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will provide administrative support to the Health and Safety Team and ensure compliance with all Health and Safety practices and procedures across our Retail Stores, Support Office, and Distribution Centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the administration of WorkCover claims, including timely submission of claims and payment of compensation to team members.
- Work closely with the Health and Safety Business Partner to administer payroll calculations and ensure accurate processing.
- Monitor the currency of Certificates of Capacity and RTW Plans, ensuring compliance with medical recommendations and recovery progression.
- Complete RTW Plans and submit to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the Health and Safety email inbox, triaging incoming mail as needed.
- Support the administration of First Aid in the Support Office, including First Aid Kit checks, stock management, and re-ordering.
- Process pending Elumina incidents and escalate as necessary.
Requirements:
- Strong administration skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Completion of RTW Coordinator Training Course desirable.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
- Passion for supporting Occupational Health and Safety practices.
- Willingness to learn and a positive can-do attitude.
