About the Role
The Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network is seeking experienced Theatre Nurses to join our team at Whyalla Hospital and Health Services. As a Theatre Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
We are looking for skilled and compassionate Theatre Nurses who can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work closely with anaesthetists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Work collaboratively with the theatre team to maintain a safe and efficient operating environment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
- Conduct thorough assessments and document patient progress
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of AustraliaExperience working in a theatre setting or a similar environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAble to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentWhat We Offer:

$84,870 - $107,279 per annum (pro-rata) for full-time hours
