About the Role

This full-time position requires an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in our 11 operating theatres and one endoscopy suite.

  • We manage around 24,000 surgical cases and 2,000 births annually, covering a diverse range of specialties, including cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, neurosurgery, gynaecology, urology, reconstructive plastic surgery, general surgery, ENT, and vascular surgery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing peri-operative nursing care in compliance with regulations and delivering evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Supervising and mentoring nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses and AINs (for RNs).
  • Assessing nursing care to achieve optimal patient outcomes and documenting patient information accurately and promptly using appropriate terminology.
