Employment Specialist

We are seeking an individual to join our team at a leading employment services provider. In this role, you will be working with people who require additional support to find and maintain employment.

You will be responsible for motivating and empowering clients to take steps towards meaningful employment, promoting their human potential through creative problem-solving and collaboration.

Your day-to-day tasks may include encouraging and motivating clients to find their own employment, building relationships with local employers to source job opportunities, placing clients into sustainable employment, and ensuring all activity is appropriately recorded and documented.

You will be driven to transform lives through a person-first approach, tailoring support and solutions to the individual in front of you and thinking outside the box on how to make a real difference in a client's life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage and motivate clients through appropriate activities to find their own employment;
  • Build relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for our clients;
  • Place clients into sustainable employment leading to outcomes;
  • Evaluate and record client progress and provide ongoing support;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service or a client-facing role;
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people overcoming challenges;
  • Happiness in liaising with multiple external and internal stakeholders;
  • Confidence in working towards key performance indicators and making placements that result in sustainable and lasting employment;
  • An overall desire to be part of a team that connects people and business, so both can thrive;
  • A current driver's license.
